A New Adventure
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21

There are so many key phrases in these verses that jump out at me. Who is able…He really IS able! What is He able to do? Not just some things, not just meet the standard, but immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. The New Living Translation uses the words “to accomplish infinitely more”. In other words, we cannot measure how far above and beyond God can go to show us His love and power and accomplish His purpose. There are no limits to His ability to accomplish whatever we need, whether that is deliverance, healing or provision. How awesome! It’s especially exciting for me to think about as I start this new ministry. MY plan was just to write a book and that was as far as my brain went. Now I’m starting a ministry that is going to…well, I have no idea what it’s going to do, actually! But the not knowing is exciting when I know that I have given this thing to God to use as He wishes. The safest place any of us can be is in His hands, and I am so ready to see God go immeasurably above and beyond what I could ever envision for this ministry. My heart is that it will be a vehicle God can use to bring healing, deliverance and hope to His Kingdom. What specifically will that look like? I have no idea! But I can’t wait for God to use it and move through it and just simply blow my mind. Nothing gets my joy stirred up more than seeing God go above and beyond. And He will because He truly IS able!
I think sometimes, like the above picture, we get short-sighted. We see that big tree in front of us and that’s it. But God sees so far beyond that to what is coming and what is possible. I hope you can get excited about what God wants to do in and through you today. When we let go of control and allow Him to shape and drive our circumstances, problems, hopes and dreams, amazing things will happen. He will not disappoint us!
